Accessibility statement
The level we aim for, what does not meet it yet, and who to tell.
Our commitment
The law imposes no accessibility level on a company of our size. We aim for one anyway: this site should be readable with a keyboard, with magnification, with a screen reader, or simply by someone who cannot see low contrast.
The target is level AA of the WCAG 2.2 guidelines. We do not claim to reach it everywhere — below we say where we know we do not.
What we hold ourselves to
- Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator.
- Text contrast checked against the brand colours.
- A consistent heading structure, for screen-reader navigation.
- Alternative text on images that carry meaning.
- One thing moves by itself: the video behind the heading on the home page. It is silent, purely decorative, and it is not shown at all if your system is set to reduce motion. Nothing else animates on its own.
What is not right yet
- The anti-spam protection on the quote form is supplied by an outside provider. Its accessibility is theirs, not ours, and we cannot fix it. If it blocks you, the fallback below applies.
- The covers in our work are images: their alternative text gives the book’s title, not the detail of the design. The specification beside each is written out in full.
If something blocks you
Write to us describing the page and what did not work. We answer within 30 days.
And if the site stops you doing something, we do it another way: a quote can be requested by telephone or email. Nobody should have to give up on writing to us because a form resisted.
How we check
An automated check runs before every publication, on every change to the site: text contrast, labels, heading structure, and a full keyboard traversal. A change that fails it cannot be published.
An automated check finds only some of the problems, and the manual pass, with a keyboard and a screen reader, is still to be done. Your report finds the rest, which is why we give you an address.
